STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

DOESN’T TURN ON

For an electric stove won’t start, be sure the stove is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light for gas models. If the appliance is plugged in or if the pilot light is lit, then a different part will need to be replaced. The cause of the issue might be the surface element, infinite switch, igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner that doesn’t heat won’t do much good. Your oven won’t heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or bake element. Your burner does not ignite when an element is broken or if the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We are able to troubleshoot and fix these issues in less than 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

PROGRAM ISSUES

You can assume the control board on a stove or oven is broken when the program or timer settings aren’t working. In this case, we know how to repair control panels for Sears, GE, LG, Kenmore, KitchenAid and several other brands and models of ranges, stoves and ovens. We offer a warranty on control boards and the parts we need for this oven repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS VERY HOT

You need a hot oven. Just not too hot! If the oven heat is extremely hot, it could be due to a broken sensor or thermostat. Our repairmen know how to find the cause of the issue and then repair it. Be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of skin burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A common stove problem is times where an igniter glows but it will not light. The cause is sometimes from either a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We can determine whether we are able to fix these appliance parts or if we need to replace the part.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

Newer self-cleaning ovens can experience door problems often. The door does not open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We monitor the door latch, thermostat and seal to identify why the door does not open and then we complete the repair so we can put an end to the problem.
